Last updated: February 15, 2026
Welcome to Rookie to GOAT. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Rookie to GOAT web application ("Service"), operated by Rookie to GOAT, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use the Service.
1. What Rookie to GOAT Is
Rookie to GOAT is a free web application that lets you track ratings for head-to-head games among friends. You can create private leagues, record game results, view leaderboards, and track rating history across sports like table tennis, pickleball, chess, volleyball, and more.
The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial, entertainment purposes only.
2. Creating an Account
- You must create an account to use Rookie to GOAT. You can sign up using Google sign-in or with an email address and password.
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you should have permission from a parent or guardian.
- You may only create and maintain one account. Multiple accounts per person are not allowed.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not share your password or let others use your account.
- The information you provide during sign-up and in your profile must be accurate. You agree to keep your information up to date.
- Your username must not impersonate another person, contain offensive language, or violate the rights of others.
3. Using the Service
3.1 Leagues
- You can create leagues for any supported game type. When you create a league, you are automatically added as its first member.
- You can invite others to join your league by sharing an invite link. Anyone with a valid Rookie to GOAT account can join via an invite link.
- League creators are responsible for the leagues they create. We reserve the right to remove leagues that violate these Terms.
3.2 Recording Games
- You can record head-to-head game results within a league you belong to. Game records include both players and their scores.
- You should only record legitimate game results. Recording fake, manipulated, or fraudulent scores is not allowed.
- Once a game is recorded, ratings are automatically calculated and updated for both players at the league and global level.
3.3 Ratings and Leaderboards
- Ratings are calculated automatically based on game results using a mathematical formula. All new players start with a rating of 1000.
- Your username, ratings, win/loss record, and game history are visible to other members of the same league. Your global ratings are visible only to you.
- Ratings are provided for entertainment purposes. They are not official rankings and should not be used for gambling, wagering, or any commercial purpose.
4. Rules of Conduct
When using Rookie to GOAT, you agree not to:
